Tastes of the World - India

Food needs to be interesting, and variety of tastes plays and important role in our everyday nutrition. As much as you like enjoying a favourite food, it can become boring after having it for too long. This is the perfect time to explore some new tastes. Recently, I visited India, where my taste-buds thanked me for introducing this new dimension of flavours. Parts of my journey led me to districts that only ate an exclusively vegetarian diet, that means not meat! I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed everything I ate. How could vegetables taste so good? Here, vegetables are prepared in so many ways, raw, fried, roasted, in gravies, and accompanied with fresh baked breads like roti, paratha, and more.
